Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Support Assistant for Manual Art classes. The successful candidate will work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver high-quality educational outcomes in both practical and theoretical classes.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional support to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers and students with sporting activities and school excursions
- Manage and maintain equipment and resources
- Communicate effectively and display high-level interpersonal skills
- Maintain anecdotal records on students
- Display respect and empathy for students with high-level needs
- Display confidentiality, tact, reliability, and sensitivity
Requirements:
- Current Working with Children Clearance (blue card)
- High School Diploma or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in an educational setting preferred
