Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Professional - Senior Internal Auditor to join our Group Internal Audit team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing audit programs that add value to the business. The ideal candidate will have strong risk management and internal audit experience, as well as excellent communication and influencing skills.

About the Role

The Risk Management Professional - Senior Internal Auditor will:

  • Develop and implement audit programs aligned with the Group's Strategic Audit Plan;
  • Execute audits efficiently and effectively within specified timeframes;
  • Deliver high-quality assurance reporting to support senior management, executives, and board sub-committees;
  • Support senior managers in ensuring adherence to GIA's methodology and internal audit standards;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification;
  • Post-graduate qualifications such as CA/CPA/Grad Cert IIA/CISA (or studying towards same);
  • Demonstrated risk management and internal audit experience;
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills;

You will be an ambitious and driven individual who is passionate about risk management and internal auditing. You will have a strong understanding of data structures and analytical techniques, as well as excellent research skills. You will also be able to learn quickly and adapt to new concepts.
