Job Overview

This is a senior leadership position for an experienced Technical Operations Manager to oversee the effective management of coffee machines and equipment, ensuring service agreements with customers are met. The role requires lending expertise to ensure the most suitable machines and equipment are utilised for optimal performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of technical specialists, monitoring financial performance, and implementing cost-effective solutions. They will also collaborate with the out-of-home sales team on equipment strategy and portfolio selection.

  • Lead a team of technical specialists for machine installations, technical services support, training, spare parts warehousing, and equipment supply and demand planning
  • Monitor financial performance and implement cost-effective solutions where appropriate while maintaining service excellence
  • Manage third-party technical service supplier relationships, including contract management, ensuring service level agreements are being met
  • Collaborate with our out-of-home sales team on equipment strategy and portfolio selection
  • Manage equipment and spare parts inventory
Key Qualifications
  • At least 7 years' experience in a similar position, with a focus on providing high-level customer service
  • Experience working with coffee equipment will be highly regarded
  • Experience working closely with an out-of-home sales team will be highly regarded
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and deliver strategic plans
  • Experience managing budgets and implementing cost-saving initiatives
