Job Overview

The Facilities Management Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of facilities, promoting a safe and sustainable work environment for employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage facilities management services through direct suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality services delivered by suppliers, working closely with monitoring platforms and service agreements.
  • Support internal audits and annual reviews, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Multi-Site Facilities Management Manager to drive operational efficiency and cost control.
  • Assist in controlling operational costs, including reducing utilities spend and reviewing suppliers' invoices for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national legislation, as well as internal rules and requirements regarding facility management.
  • Provide technical expertise and support in daily operations and projects related to facility delivery.
  • Participate in sustainability-focused projects.
  • Conduct regular store inspections to ensure facilities are maintained at optimal levels.

Requirements:

  • Experienced professional with strong contract management skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and manage administrative tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, and FM-related software platforms.
  • Experience with service agreement management and KPIs with suppliers.
