
Postdoctoral Scientist in Chromatin Regulation and Gene Expression

**Research Fellow: Genomic Regulation and Developmental Biology** As a Research Fellow in the Pradhan lab, you will contribute to research projects that explore the intricate relationship between chromatin packaging and transcriptional regulation during development and disease in mammalian cells using cutting-edge single cell technologies. The position requires conceptualizing and conducting experiments to support research endeavors, ensuring methodological consistency and adherence to timelines. You will review relevant literature to inform experiment design and report development for presentations and seminars. Additionally, you will author and publish articles in peer-reviewed journals, upholding high academic standards and showcasing scientific leadership. Collaboration with internal and external labs is essential, involving the exchange of ideas and implementation of experiments. A recent PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genomics with strong bioinformatics skills is required, along with proficiency in utilizing single cell or low cell number experimental and/or clinical samples. Familiarity with open-source DNA-seq, Bisulfite-seq, ChIP-seq, and RNA-seq analysis pipelines, and public databases (e.g., TCGA, UCSC Genome Browser, Ensembl) is necessary. Operational knowledge of coding/scripting languages (Java, Python, Perl, R) and experience working in an HPC environment are also required.
