Senior Research Associate

The primary objective of this postdoctoral research position is to explore the intricate relationship between chromatin packaging and transcriptional regulation during development and disease in mammalian cells.
As a member of our team, you will focus on conceptualizing and conducting experiments to support research projects, reviewing literature for experiment design and report development, writing and publishing articles in peer-reviewed journals, and collaborating with researchers within our institution and external labs.
Key qualifications include a recent PhD in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Genomics with strong bioinformatics skills, proficiency in using single cell or low cell number experimental and/or clinical samples, familiarity with open-source DNA-seq, Bisulfite-seq, ChIP-seq, and RNA-seq analysis pipelines, and operational knowledge of coding/scripting languages such as Java, Python, Perl, or R, along with experience working in an HPC environment.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of basic statistics, experience in mammalian cell culture, and NGS library preparation for DNA and RNA analysis.
