Compliance Specialist - Financial Crime Risk Assessment

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to join our team, where you will play a crucial role in strengthening our financial crime compliance framework through risk assessments and policy support. About the Role

In this key position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate financial crime risks, ensuring our compliance practices remain robust and forward-thinking. Your expertise in conducting AML/CTF risk assessments and navigating regulatory change will be invaluable in driving business growth while maintaining a high level of compliance.

You will be responsible for leading and maintaining financial crime risk assessments, supporting the development and refinement of compliance policies, monitoring adherence to financial crime procedures, and reporting findings. Additionally, you will contribute to training and awareness initiatives, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support compliance outcomes.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong understanding of financial crime obligations, including AML/CTF legislation and AUSTRAC guidance. Experience in financial services and banking will equip you to assess risk across diverse products and third-party relationships. You should be confident conducting AML/CTF risk assessments, navigating regulatory change, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders and regulators alike.
