Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled policy professional to lead the development and implementation of policy initiatives for a newly established function at IPART.

This role will involve shaping regulatory settings through strategic policy advice and technical analysis, providing expert input to senior leadership and the Tribunal.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading projects that deliver evidence-based policy frameworks.
  • Contributing to the development of a robust regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing policy initiatives that drive better insurance outcomes.
  • Providing high-quality strategic advice to senior leadership and the Tribunal.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong background in policy development, economic analysis, and regulatory frameworks.
  • The ability to interpret market dynamics and legislative frameworks, and translate that understanding into high-level policy objectives and actionable plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare reports and public discussion papers.
  • Experience working within government or regulatory environments, particularly in financial services or heavily regulated industries.
