Role Overview

This challenging role involves ensuring the security of operational capabilities. You will provide expert security advice to stakeholders, conduct reviews on acquisition and sustainment projects, and manage risks in product and project risk registers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide security advice to Product and Project Directors/Managers
  • Conduct security reviews on acquisition and sustainment projects
  • Record and manage security risks in product and project risk registers
  • Coordinate stakeholder actions required to maintain program security
  • Maintain the Security Classification and Categorisation Guide (SCCG)
  • Raise Project Identification Documents (PID) for all new acquisition projects

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding and practical knowledge of security management processes and principles, as defined by the DSPF and other Defence security policies
  • Minimum two years' experience in a Defence security management role, preferably in a Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) environment
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing risks in Predict (desirable)
  • To be an Australian Citizen and hold a NV1 security clearance
