Job Title: Health, Safety and Training Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced professional to join our team as a Health, Safety and Training Manager. This is a permanent role that requires a strong focus on driving safety strategies and initiatives to cultivate and sustain a project culture of continuous improvement in safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the site senior leadership team and overseeing a team of Health, Safety and Training professionals. They will also be responsible for managing projects to deadlines, leading the safety culture on site, and ensuring the safety of all persons on site.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience in a senior role with relevant tertiary qualifications in Health and Safety and/or Environmental Management. You will also need to have demonstrated ability to lead strategy and influence change with top level management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement project safety management plans and contribute to their effectiveness.
  • Motivate people to ensure ownership of health and safety across all levels of the project.
  • Develop and ensure the effectiveness of the health and safety system.
