About This Role

This position requires a dedicated individual who can provide expert advice on health, safety, and environmental matters within the organization.

The role involves facilitating risk assessments, developing and implementing safety management plans, conducting incident investigations, and auditing compliance with relevant regulations.

A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mining operations and the ability to lead and facilitate risk assessments associated with mining work.

  • Develop and implement safety management plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Conduct incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions;
  • Facilitate risk assessments and audits to ensure adherence to safety protocols;
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and near misses;
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant diploma-level qualification or equivalent experience;
  • Minimum two years of experience in a mining site-based environment;
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate risk assessments associated with mining work;
  • Experience in auditing, incident reporting, and incident investigation is highly desirable.
