Job Overview

This is a key leadership role at one of our most popular facilities, requiring a highly skilled and experienced Venue Manager to lead the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing this seasonal facility, its centre team, and local community, driving operational, financial, and program success through strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and effective risk management.

Key deliverables include ensuring visitor and employee safety, coaching leaders to meet KPIs, fostering a high-performance culture, achieving budgeted performance targets, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Additionally, the venue manager will be responsible for recruiting and training staff, implementing a customer service proposition, and identifying career progression opportunities.

Our ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in leading or managing leisure or aquatic facilities, as well as sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and relevant certifications such as CPR and first aid.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in leading or managing similar leisure or aquatic facilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations.
