Your Future Role
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective measures to mitigate them.
  • Lead the EHS function on site, overseeing induction programs for new starters and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain procedures and tools tailored to our EHS Management System, aligned with legislative requirements and relevant standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of the site, demonstrating a strong focus on compliance with safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with site teams to foster a positive EHS culture, leveraging your strategic insights where needed.
  • Create and deliver an EHS training plan and program in conjunction with HR support, along with a localised EHS communication strategy.
  • Facilitate internal EHS audits to ensure a comprehensive review of the EHS reporting process.
About You
  • A degree in Workplace, Health, and Safety (Diploma, Bachelor's Degree or similar) is required.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of local legal requirements, particularly in the context of Rail Safety.
  • Show initiative, drive, and resilience, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels within the project.
  • Bring previous experience in the rail industry or a similar safety-critical environment, highlighting your adaptability and expertise.
  • Exhibit a solid grasp of safe working systems, rules, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to support and inspire teams, consistently achieving desired outcomes.
