About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Signal Electrician to join our team at UGL Regional Linx, responsible for maintaining and repairing the NSW Country Regional Network's signaling systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular maintenance inspections and repairs as per UGLRL's Technical Maintenance Plan
  • Identify and repair signal mechanical faults and attend failures to diagnose and correct signaling faults
  • Support other business groups in delivering their works
  • Work on a 9-day fortnight roster with occasional working away from home requirements
Requirements
  • Signal Electrician Assessed and hold a Cert IV Electrical (Rail Signaling)
  • Previous Signaling experience
  • Competent in fault rectification, testing, commissioning, and decommissioning of Signaling Systems
  • Strong ability to interpret and read technical drawings
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Time Management skills
  • White card
  • Class C Driver's licence essential (HR preferred)
  • Hold a current RIW card (preferable)
  • Rail maintenance background and technical understanding
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills
