About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist and Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic General Practice Clinic at MQ Health.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare and excellent administrative skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

The role will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support services to general and specialist practice clinicians in their clinic rooms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support and liaising with patients in person and over the phone
  • Managing patient appointments with clinicians
  • Ensuring patients are billed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Updating and maintaining confidentiality of patient records
  • Communicating, liaising and coordinating duties with other administrative and reception staff in the clinic and throughout other MQ Health and affiliated clinics
  • Reconciling end of day cash/EFTPOS and undertaking associated banking tasks

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and professional individual who enjoys interacting with customers/patients to provide excellent customer service in each and every interaction.

Previous reception and administration or customer service-related experience is essential, as is the ability to work in a lively environment with excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
