Job Title: Senior Information Governance Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in implementing high-quality information governance across the enterprise.
You will be responsible for acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with internal policies, frameworks, and jurisdictional regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will maintain enterprise-wide tools to support information governance processes, provide advice on frameworks to global stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous improvement of governance practices.
In this role, you will collaborate with teams across the organization to promote best practices, ensure compliance with industry and international standards, and help drive operational excellence in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective information governance strategies and policies
- Provide expert guidance on information management, data sovereignty, and records management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address information governance risks and opportunities
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in information governance
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in information governance, risk management, or a related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful information governance initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
