Job Description

Our organisation is a leading transportation provider operating over 3,700 weekly train and coach services in Victoria. We are experiencing significant growth and need to enhance our information governance program to support our strategic priorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing enterprise-wide information governance frameworks, policies, and strategies, including cultural change, people capabilities development, comprehensive management processes introduction, robust information architecture, and deployment of a compliant Electronic Document & Records Management System (EDRMS).

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Developing and implementing enterprise-wide information governance frameworks, policies, and strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Established leadership skills influencing cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Proven experience driving organisational change and embedding a culture of compliance, privacy, and data stewardship.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles related to information governance, data privacy, and records management.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management, Information Technology, Business or related fields.
  • Eligibility for membership of professional organisations such as RIMPA or ALIA.
  • Industry recognised certifications such as CIP, Data Governance Professional, or Information Security Certifications.
