Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to join our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and managing OSHC teams in schools, overseeing all aspects of service management including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in people management, preferably in childcare or education, and excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

About the Role:

  • Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools
  • Oversee all aspects of service management including staff management, program design support, business management, and motivating and managing teams
  • Conduct Educator appraisals
  • Build & maintain excellent relationships with educators, principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities, and suppliers
  • Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews
  • Monthly reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in people management, preferably in childcare or education
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Current VIC Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or are willing to obtain
  • Completed a Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent
