Dynamic People Manager Role

This is a significant and evolving leadership position in the area of Outside School Hours Care (OSHC).

  • Lead and oversee OSHC teams in schools
  • Manage all aspects of service delivery, including staff management, program design support, business operations, and team motivation
  • Conduct educator performance evaluations
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN EXCELLENT RELATIONSHIPS WITH EDUCATORS, PRINCIPALS, SCHOOL STAFF, PARENTS, REGULATORY AUTHORITIES, AND SUPPLIERS
  • Prepare educators for Assessment and Rating reviews
  • Monthly reporting and analysis

This position reports directly to the National Programs Manager and is based in the Ballarat, Geelong & Western Suburbs of VIC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MANAGE A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS IN A DYNAMIC ENVIRONMENT
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and efficiency
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff members
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including educators, principals, and parents
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and developments

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in people management, preferably in childcare or education
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Current VIC Working with Children's Check, First Aid HLTAID012, and Child Protection Training or are willing to obtain
  • Completed a Diploma or above in Child Care, Education, Community Services, or equivalent
