As a specialist underground mining services provider, we are seeking experienced professionals to join our operations in Africa.

The role involves working with a world-class workforce and an extensive fleet of underground mining equipment.

To achieve this goal, we need skilled individuals who can perform scheduled servicing of mobile equipment safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance tasks in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
  • Mentoring and developing junior trades personnel.
  • Utilizing problem-solving skills to minimize machinery downtime.
  • Recording and reporting maintenance activities accurately.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping in workshops and work areas.
  • Interpreting technical manuals and documentation.
  • Reporting equipment faults to the maintenance team for scheduling.
  • Demonstrating a commitment to safety and promoting a safe working environment.
  • Providing training and coaching to less qualified tradespeople.
  • Working with advanced underground mobile equipment and automation systems.

We require candidates with at least 5 years of post-apprenticeship experience in underground mining, specifically working on large mobile equipment.

Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills for electric hydraulic drilling equipment and good knowledge of loader and truck maintenance.

Auto electrics, hydraulic circuit schematics, and diesel engine maintenance are also essential skills for this role.

A valid international driver's license is required.
