We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair mobile mining equipment. As a key player in our team, you will work on excavators, haul trucks, loaders, and graders, ensuring reliability and peak performance.
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy mobile plant equipment.
- Conduct scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Overhaul and replace components to keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with a team to deliver high-quality maintenance services.
- Maintain accurate service records and adhere to Australian safety standards.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or equivalent.
- 3–5+ years of experience in mobile plant maintenance, preferably in mining.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Experience working with OEM equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
- A commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
