Advanced Gastrointestinal Care Specialist

Deliver advanced gastrointestinal nutrition care to clients with irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease, small intestine bacterial overgrowth and intolerance, and food chemical intolerance.
- Support clients with medically diagnosed mould related illness by integrating nutrition strategies within their medical plan.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support pain modulation, pacing, stress, and behaviour change.
- Interpret medically ordered pathology and validated breath/stool results to provide nutrition insights.
- Develop and implement new strategies and prioritise workloads to meet key performance indicators.
- Hold accredited practising dietitian status.
- Have solid practical experience in dietetics, particularly in gut health and the gut microbiome.
- Be able to work autonomously and develop highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Monash University Low FODMAP training or equivalent.
- Familiarity with CIRS/mould related illness care pathways in a medically supervised, multidisciplinary model.
