Staff Specialist Role in Gastroenterology
Description of the JobThis role involves providing high-quality clinical management and treatment to patients within a hospital facility. The specialist will be responsible for gastroscopies, ERCPs, EUS, outpatient clinics, inpatients, and on-call support.

Requirements and Skills- Current medical practitioner registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the RACP and/or other specialist recognition as provided under the Health Insurance Act 1973.
- Demonstrated current clinical practice of a high standard and ability to adapt clinical practice in accordance with contemporary evidence-based best practice.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety, and risk management.
- Demonstrated participation in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, including supervision of junior medical staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including continuing medical education/ Continuing professional development.
- Evidence of ability to work cooperatively with other staff and practitioners in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
