Field Forklift Mechanic/Service Technician Job Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality service to customers by performing scheduled maintenance and safety checks on material handling equipment.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to customers in a dedicated territory and customer base.
  • Assist in the preparation of field-based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs.
  • Record notes and file service records appropriately.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge and adhere to industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
