Job Description

Sleek Australia is seeking an experienced leader to drive operations excellence and lead the team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, Develop and Train Teams: Provide structured training, coaching, and leadership across accounting, tax, and payroll teams; collaborate with department heads for effective operations and compliance.
  • Deliver High-Quality Service: Own client work delivery, ensure accuracy and timeliness, and adherence to SLAs across engagements; ensure process compliance with ASIC and ATO requirements.
  • Improve Team Performance: Monitor and improve team performance, processes, and workflows; implement corrective actions to maintain client confidence and profitability.
  • Streamline Workflows: Leverage automation, AI, and digital tools to reduce errors and increase scalability; standardize processes and reporting for consistency in client delivery.
  • Strategic Contribution: Act as a key member of the leadership team, contribute to business strategy, service development, and client experience improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Recognized degree in business, management, operations, or a related field. An accounting background is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • 10+ years of proven leadership in operations management, with a track record of scaling teams, systems, and service delivery in complex environments.
  • Extensive people leadership experience, including managing large or cross-functional teams; ability to coach, motivate, and drive accountability.
  • Deep operational expertise with the ability to design and implement processes ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Experience in regulated environments; ability to coordinate subject matter experts to ensure adherence.
  • Tech-enabled operator, proficient with productivity software and AI tools to streamline workflows and performance management.
  • Strategic, resilient problem-solver; highly organized, detail-oriented; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
