Senior Operations Director

Job Description:

The Senior Operations Director will lead one of our manufacturing sites, driving world-class performance across safety, quality, service, and cost.

This includes delivering against the balanced scorecard, improving productivity, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), service levels, and governance metrics.

You will also lead the Manufacturing Management System (MMS) journey to build performance, standards, capability, and asset care.

A key focus area will be championing safety, quality, environmental, and compliance standards.

Additionally, you will coach and develop leaders and teams, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have a degree qualification in engineering, business, supply chain, or science, or equivalent experience.

At least 10 years' experience in FMCG manufacturing/production is required, along with proven expertise in packaging, processing, and plant technologies.

Fluent English is essential, as well as a proven track record in manufacturing excellence tools, systems, and leadership practices.

A strong ability to build a high-performance climate across large, multi-disciplinary teams is necessary.

Experience partnering with employee groups and representatives in a leadership capacity is also desirable.
