As a dynamic Professional Services Consultant, you will be at the forefront of our rapidly growing business. Your primary responsibility will be to carry out Professional Services engagements in a professional and timely manner for our customers.

  • Develops a clear overall understanding of customer requirements, including project scope, technical requirements, and solution design.
  • Assists in the deployment, configuration, cut-over, testing, and troubleshooting of security solutions in customer environments.
  • Execute customer and Fortinet taskings autonomously while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Provide technical mentoring, training, and coaching to other members of our technical staff to obtain necessary skills to evolve in the organization.
  • Continuously developing knowledge and skills to remain proficient with our technologies to provide best practice advice during project delivery.
  • Maintain expert-level technical knowledge in network security infrastructure, switching, routing, SD-WAN, proxies firewalls, UTM, APT, application control, content filtering, web proxying, SLB, cryptology, VPN technologies, and associated topologies.
  • Write and present whitepapers, technical notes, and other high-level technical documentation as required.
  • Interface with our partners within designated technology disciplines and distribute that knowledge internally.
  • Effectively communicate project information to management as appropriate.
  • Utilize communication and conflict resolution skills to independently address and resolve interpersonal conflicts and issues.
  • Adapt to changes in workload, demonstrate resilience, and flexibility to effectively manage shifting priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards of performance and productivity.
  • Effectively analyze technical issues, implement troubleshooting methodologies, identify root causes, and apply remediation where possible.
  • Receive, comprehend, and follow direction from supervisors, team leads, management, and customer line management.
  • Consistently maintain high levels of efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail in the execution of assigned job responsibilities.
  • Apply and leverage effective time-management techniques.
  • Leverage strategic and critical thinking to create and implement solutions to overcome technical challenges.
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  • Completes and submits any required administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Follow up with customer and internal departments to ensure project documentation is completed.
