Job Title: Information Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to join our organization in Brisbane on a contract basis. As an Information Security Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying security vulnerabilities in our systems and infrastructure, and recommending solutions to enhance our security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Documenting and reporting findings to management and technical teams

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities and enhance security

- Developing and maintaining testing methodologies, procedures, and tools

- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and security threats, and recommending best practices to enhance our security posture

Requirements:

- At least 2 years of experience in penetration testing or a related field

- In-depth knowledge of penetration testing tools and methodologies

- Experience with network protocols and infrastructure technologies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, or CISSP are a plus
