About the Role

A senior cybersecurity engineer position is available in our Brisbane office. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales process by providing expert guidance on cyber security solutions.

This role will be responsible for designing and communicating tailored cyber solutions to clients and prospects. You will work closely with our sales, professional services, and product teams to drive new opportunities and enhance customer confidence.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and develop comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.
  2. Present and demonstrate our go-to-market strategy to prospects and existing clients.
  3. Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for key vendors and technology partners.
  4. Respond to RFPs and RFIs with clear, concise, and solution-oriented documentation.
  5. Architect industry-leading cybersecurity solutions using frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and PCI-DSS.
  6. Evaluate customer environments to align our services and cyber controls with business objectives.
  7. Recommend appropriate technologies and services across EDR, MDR, DLP, and other advanced threat detection domains.
  8. Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and technical roadmaps.
  9. Lead technical discovery sessions and facilitate security workshops.
  10. Engage in solution scoping and planning in collaboration with delivery teams.
  11. Address technical objections and mitigate risks throughout the sales cycle.
Skill Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a cybersecurity engineering or technical sales capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and presenting enterprise-level cyber solutions.
  • Familiarity with current Australian regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and solution blueprints.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of enterprise sales cycles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical detail to non-technical audiences.
