Job Title

We are seeking a skilled and experienced technical professional to fill the role of Technical Spares Assessor. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system engineering processes, techniques, and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide parts technical support for the Australian Military G-Wagon fleet to ensure it is operational.
  • Identify incorrect or incomplete drawings and part number details found in the Australian Defence Force G-Wagon Parts catalog.
  • Update the catalog with new parts identified in the engineering change process.
  • Submit engineering details related to parts for codification.
  • Provide overflow support for the Inventory team.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in project management processes, techniques, and tools, as well as Defence supply and parts processes.
  • Awareness of and experience in Defence engineering processes and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High degree of computer literacy.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Coordination of multi-disciplinary teams, including international members.
  • Understanding of vehicle parts catalogue systems.
  • Extensive knowledge of parts logistics is favorable.
  • Must hold an Australian Citizenship.
  • Ability to achieve a Defence BASE LEVEL security clearance.
