Job Description

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to fill a key leadership role within our organization.

This position involves overseeing the financial operations of the company, including statutory reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. You will work closely with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.

Your expertise in financial planning and analysis will be crucial in driving business growth and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

You will lead a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Lead the preparation of group financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
    • Liaise and work with auditors to ensure global audit timelines are met.
    • Prepare and coordinate tax submissions for Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
    • Oversight of overseas entity corporate tax submissions.
    • Manage global transfer pricing policies.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
    • Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support business decision-making.
    • Compile key performance indicators and provide insightful analysis and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Coordinate the annual budgeting process and oversee cash flow consolidation.
  • Business Partnering and Strategic Support:
    • Work closely with regional studios and senior leaders to drive financial performance and consistency.
    • Provide strategic support to the CFO and CEO on key projects and initiatives.
  • Team Development:
    • Oversee the activities of the Group Finance function based in Melbourne.
    • Partner with Regional Finance Leaders to understand regional finance activity.

Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced finance professional with a strong track record in financial leadership.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A CA/CPA qualification or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in statutory reporting.
  • Proficient in Australian tax compliance and indirect tax review.
  • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • Proven experience in group-level budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
