Job Description:

The position of Commercial and Financial Manager is a key role in our organization, responsible for overseeing financial operations and ensuring accurate cost allocation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage and enhance financial reporting systems, including Xero and Procore. Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reports at both project and company levels.
  • Deliver end-of-project profitability analysis and contribute to financial lessons learned.
  • Implement established end-of-project and end-of-financial-year bonus procedures.
  • Collaborate with operations and project leaders to ensure accurate cost allocation.
  • Participate in senior management meetings, providing relevant financial insights.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings across the organization.
  • Lead cost management reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Review bid budgets prior to submission and highlight risks or discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in financial management and cost control.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, including Xero and Procore.
