Job Title: Early Childcare Education Manager

This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of early childcare programs in a new centre.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing projects, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

A strong background in early childhood education, combined with excellent leadership and communication skills, is essential for success in this position.

### Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of our new early childcare centre. This includes:

  • Program Design:
  • Informing the program design and delivery of the centre
  • Working with provincial contacts to ensure adherence to regulations
  • Engaging with local families to understand their unique needs
  • Establishing a physical space that meets the needs of children aged 0-5
  • Anticipating staff needs and setting up the centre for their success
  • Collaborating with the Director of Properties & Development throughout the design and construction phases

### Required Skills and Qualifications

Early Childhood Educator designation (diploma or degree) with working experienceWell-versed in the provincial standards for early childcare in Nova ScotiaExperience hiring and managing staffGood interpersonal skillsExceptional attention to detailHighly organized and works well under pressure
