Long Day Early Childcare Centre DirectorWe have an exciting opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at Kookaburra Cottage Childcare in Lawson, NSW.We are seeking a Centre Director with relevant experience and a qualification related to childhood education, including:Degree in Early Childhood TeachingWhy Join UsFlexibility where required, including parental leave opportunitiesFree first aid training and certificationTeam social eventsContribute to the wonderful local community of the Blue MountainsResponsibilitiesAs a Centre Director, you will lead and coordinate the day-to-day management of our Long Day Childcare and Education Service.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:Enhancing awareness of, and ensuring health and safety for, the children in our careUpdating and implementing the Service's policies and procedures to comply with National Quality StandardsManaging staff rosters for permanent and casual staffManaging enrolments and vacanciesMaintaining accurate records for the children in careLiaising with families regarding their children's developmentManaging timesheets for payroll processingMaintaining operations of the premises, including supplies and maintenance coordinationAbout UsLocated within a beautiful, renovated historic cottage built in 1890, Kookaburra Cottage Childcare has a compassionate team of 15 dedicated to providing care to families within the Blue Mountains community.
