Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Early Childcare Education Manager to join our team. As an integral part of our childcare centre's leadership, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering enriching programs for children aged 0-5.

  • You will work closely with the Director of Properties & Development to inform the design and construction phases of the new childcare centre.
  • Develop and implement effective programming that meets the unique needs of Glace Bay families.

Key responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams, attending project meetings, and serving as a site point of contact for project-related questions/topics. Additionally, you will proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.

Key Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, combined with relevant working experience.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial standards for early childcare in Nova Scotia.
  • Ability to hire and manage staff effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
