About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Industry Principal Architects to join our team in Asia Pacific. As a key member of our Cloud Platform team, you will be responsible for bringing experience and thought leadership to help set goals, mission, and strategy for the Principal Architects and Industry Solutions Specialists across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with Chief Experience Officers (CxOs) and serve as a public advocate for your Industry pillar as a keynote presenter.
  • Perform in-depth searches with internal Engineering teams on key use cases for a given customer/market.
  • Coach Sales teams through customer engagement and lead a cross-Google working team through critical engagements with CxOs.
  • Coach and mentor team members and set key performance indicators.
  • Adopt best practices in enterprise architecture and develop new solution initiatives.
  • Support a broad cross-functional group of stakeholders and provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to shape product direction.
Requirements
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience working in or supporting the Financial Services industry.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with software lifecycles, building tools, and architecting and developing software for scalable, distributed systems.
  • Experience as a Pre-Sales Manager or a people manager in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Experience managing a team through sales processes, operations, and career development.
