About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal Architect to lead our industry solutions team in the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our Google Cloud Platform team, you will be responsible for bringing thought leadership and expertise to help set goals, mission, and strategy for our Principal Architects and Industry Solutions Specialists.

You will engage with Chief Experience Officers (CxOs), serve as a public advocate for your industry pillar, and perform in-depth searches with internal Engineering teams on key use cases for customers and markets. Additionally, you will coach Sales teams through customer engagements and lead cross-Google working teams through critical engagements with CxOs.

Responsibilities
  • Work with Sales management to determine proper staffing levels, establish job requisitions, build pipeline, and lead the interview team to fill open positions.
  • Organize, train, and equip the Principal Architect (PA) team, assessing their go-to-market readiness and identifying gaps in preparedness.
  • Work with the Cloud Sales team and leadership to identify, qualify, and prioritize coverage for business opportunities, participating in periodic opportunity review meetings.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through collaboration with Sales Account, Customer Support, Product Management, Customer Solutions, and Engineering to resolve product problems affecting pre- and post-sales customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to visit customers throughout the region.
