We are seeking a skilled Claims Professional to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business outcomes.
The role is pivotal in making a positive impact for people and communities, as it supports customers through challenging times and finds resolutions that get their lives back on track.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage a portfolio of CTP/MAI claims for customers who have sustained physical or psychological injuries from motor vehicle accidents.
- Proactively work to facilitate recovery and resolve claims within the earliest possible timeframes while achieving optimal outcomes.
- Provide excellent customer service by working with customers, team members, and medical providers to find solutions that meet their needs and business objectives.
- Assess claims for reasonable and appropriate treatment and rehabilitation needs.
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and follow all internal policies and procedures.
- Continuously assess Quantum and Estimate of claims using available evidence.
- Calculate settlement offers, negotiate settlements, and attend conferences with legal representatives.
- Collaborate with Injury Management Advisor and Technical Advisor.
- Work with relevant business areas to discuss and action plan file direction.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in CTP claims or personal injury claims with a track record of delivering results.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding for customers.
- Excellent communication skills, including listening, building rapport, communicating complex information, and negotiating with various stakeholders.
- Strong administrative and written skills to effectively manage all aspects of each claim.
