Job Role: Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install equipment with precision and attention to detail in accordance with industry standards, compliance regulations, and customer specifications.
  • Maintain equipment through regular inspections and preventive measures as per company policies, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  • Attend to corrective repair calls in a timely manner, aligning with customer contracts and repairing equipment in accordance with company guidelines, directives, and client specifications.
  • Ensure the timely completion of Field Modification Instructions (FMI's).
  • Inform senior management when response time objectives cannot be met, i.e., If there are multiple site visits related to the same problem, notify Senior Field Engineer (SFE).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Technical competence and willingness to work on GE HealthCare medical imaging/medical diagnostic products.
  • Desirable knowledge and prior experience working on cyclotrons.
  • Knowledge and experience working in CT, PET, Nuclear Medicine or X-ray would be an asset.
  • Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technician or equivalent electrical trade qualifications.
  • Relevant licenses as required by Federal or State Legislation (e.g., Electrical/Radiation Licenses), Work Cards (e.g., White Card) and Australian Drivers license (Class C minimum).
