Senior Water Infrastructure Leader

A seasoned Senior Civil Designer or Technical Director is sought to lead a high-growth team in Sydney. As an accredited professional for water and sewer infrastructure projects, we require a skilled leader to manage and mentor designers, deliver compliant designs, and drive the success of urban and regional developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of designers in delivering water and sewer infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee end-to-end design and documentation of water and sewer infrastructure.
  • Ensure design compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the company in client meetings with architects, builders, developers, and contractors.
  • Support leadership and contribute to building team culture and new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate closely with drafters and other disciplines to deliver integrated outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in civil engineering/design, preferably with water infrastructure background.
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Sydney Water accreditation or significant project experience in this sector.
  • Strong skills in CAD software, including Civil 3D and/or 12D.
  • Proven leadership, project management, and client engagement capabilities.
