At ProVision, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to lead our two dynamic optometry practices in Melbourne's CBD. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations across both sites, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient practice management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Staff Management:
- Oversee, train, and support a talented team of optometrists and dispensers/managers.
- Conduct regular meetings and check-ins to ensure team alignment and productivity.
- Manage absences, schedules, and performance reviews to maintain a positive work environment.
- Customer Service Excellence:
- Step in as Manager/Dispenser when needed, providing hands-on support to the team.
- Proactively address customer concerns and ensure exceptional service standards are met.
- Marketing & Business Development:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new customers.
- Manage social media, website content, and community outreach initiatives.
- Build relationships with local businesses, GPs, and other healthcare professionals.
- Operations & Supplier Management:
- Handle ordering and inventory management to ensure efficient practice operations.
- Liaise with suppliers to maintain strong partnerships and negotiate favorable terms.
- Director Support:
- Assist the director in managing two busy practices, offering strategic support and insights.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed.
About You:
- Experience & Skills:
- Previous optical experience and retail/management skills are preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for helping people.
- Experience in marketing and business development is highly desirable.
