Role Summary

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to lead the performance and growth of Amazon Resale in Australia. The successful candidate will own the AU repair network, manage relationships with repair partners, and optimize performance to deliver high repair efficiency.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the AU repair network, managing relationships with Amazon's repair partners and internal Relo fulfillment centers to optimize performance.
  • Deliver high repair efficiency through close management of input and output metrics, taking data-driven decisions in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Help grow the business through onboarding new partners, developing new repair models, and being the voice of repair for future tech and product improvements.
  • Uphold a high standard for our customers, ensuring that products sold on Amazon Resale have undergone meticulous repair processes, delighting customers and preventing further defects.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Business, Operations, Tech, Finance, and others. A willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done is essential, as you will be working in a start-up or early-stage environment. You will define best practices, create standard operating procedures (SOPs), and act as a subject matter expert (SME), paving the way for future team members to support this highly strategic and fast-growing area of the business.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include owning the Amazon Resale business and financial performance, input, and defect metrics. You will also own the commercial agreements with repair vendors and conduct Request for Proposals (RFP) or strategic negotiations on behalf of Amazon with external vendors/buyers.

You will make business decisions to optimize recovery across channels, improve customer experience for buyers, identify industry trends, and identify the right vendor partners to support strategic goals and objectives. Additionally, you will set goals and strategic direction for the business, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and vision.
