**Job Title:** Project DirectorFinXL IT Professional Services is a leading Australian company providing innovative technology enabled business solutions and consulting services across various industries.We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead our projects in Canberra or Brisbane, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality results and achieve strategic objectives.About the Role:
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation;
  • Manage project governance, risks, and issues, maintaining open communication with stakeholders;
  • Provide expert analysis and advice on strategic and programmatic risks, issues, and trends;
  • Lead teams to achieve project outcomes, ensuring traceability from benefits to project outputs;
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Establish and maintain project governance structures;
  2. Oversee project planning, including development of program plans and schedules;
  3. Report on project progress through attendance at boards, committees, and ministerial briefs;
  4. Ensure achievement of project outcomes and identify opportunities for process improvements;
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Demonstrated experience as a project director or similar role;
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with ability to inspire and motivate teams;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in risk management;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, engineering, or computer science;
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards;
