About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Safety & Systems team at the Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development, delivery, and deployment of Safe Working systems across our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of Safe Working systems.
  • Collaborate with the System Integrator, Contractors, consultants, and Rail Systems team to ensure effective project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with ARTC's project management policies, procedures, and rail systems program plans.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including the Program Director Rail Systems, Shareholder, and external parties.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification or certification in a business, engineering, or project management field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • More than 7 years' experience managing complex technology projects, preferably in rail or other safety-critical environments.
  • Significant experience and proven results in the delivery and commercial aspects of project management in large, complex, multi-discipline programs.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of modern program and project management techniques, including Earned Value Management and Systems Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability to build cohesive and effective operational working relationships within the organisation and with external parties.
