This is a unique chance to excel in your career as a professional instructor. We are seeking an exceptional individual to provide training, administrative, and subject matter expertise support applicable to Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification (PIQ) Course, secondary upgrade courses, and current training.

About This Role

  • Conduct mission briefs and debriefs as appropriate
  • Deliver simulator instruction to C-27J pilot students
  • Engage with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator issues
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training material that supports syllabus delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high-quality training and assessment standards are met in an aircrew training environment
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of training materials and instructional methodologies
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of simulator capabilities and limitations

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment
  • Have a minimum 1000 command hours on multi-engine, multi-crew, and tactical transport aircraft C-27J, C-130J, or similar aircraft
  • Experience as a flight simulator instructor will be highly regarded
  • Have, or ability to gain, a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or recognised experience

Security Requirements

You must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
