Job Role

A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced instructor to join our team as a simulator pilot instructor. This role will provide training, administrative and subject matter expertise support applicable to Spartan Pilot Initial Qualification (PIQ) Course, secondary upgrade courses and current training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mission briefs and debriefs as appropriate
  • Deliver simulator instruction to C-27J pilot students
  • Engage with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator issues
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training material that supports syllabus delivery
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years Military Qualified Flying Instructor or Operational Flying Instructor experience in an aircrew training environment
  • Have a minimum 1000 command hours on multi engine, multi crew and tactical transport aircraft (C-27J, C-130J or similar)
  • Experience as a flight simulator instructor will be highly regarded
  • Have, or ability to gain, a Cert IV in Workplace Training & Assessment or recognised experience
