About the Opportunity

This is a highly sought-after chance for an accomplished medical regulatory lawyer to become a core member of our Commercial Contracts Practice Group. We're seeking a skilled professional with a passion for delivering exceptional client service and a strong understanding of medical and health law.

In this role, you will work closely with large multinational corporations across the healthcare industry on complex projects, leveraging your technical expertise to drive business growth and success. You will also collaborate with a team of high-performing lawyers on medical regulatory compliance and general commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising and Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, managing their matters efficiently and effectively.
  • Medical and Health Law Expertise: Provide expert advice on all aspects of medical and health law, including therapeutic goods regulations, privacy and regulation of health information, cosmetics and other consumer products, Australian Consumer Law, NDIS, and aged care.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, clinical trial agreements, goods and services agreements, independent contractor agreements, and software agreements.
  • Team Growth and Development: Contribute to team growth through delivery of articles, external webinars, and internal training sessions.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work closely with Practice Leaders, train graduates, and be part of a fun, motivated, and supportive team.

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a candidate with 2-4 years of experience in a reputable legal environment, demonstrating expertise in medical regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have excellent drafting skills, attention to detail, efficiency, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.
