Private Capital Fund Administrator

We are seeking a highly experienced fund administration manager to lead our team of accountants and oversee the end-to-end administration of private capital funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of fund accountants to deliver high-quality service to our clients.
- Oversee the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) and maintain the Accounting Book of Records for our private capital funds.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Coordinate and review capital activity processes including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and share/unit transfers.
- Supervise investment activity processing and related payments for our private capital funds.
- Oversee the preparation and review of client reporting, providing accurate and timely information.
- Manage performance fee calculations, including carried interest, waterfall models, and management fees for our private capital funds.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of funds and clients, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Monitor service delivery against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintain a strong internal control framework.
- Participate in system enhancement projects and operational improvements to enhance our fund administration services.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services industry and accounting, especially with alternative fund structures.
- Strong understanding of fund documentation, including Limited Partnership Agreements (LPAs) and Prospectuses.
- Solid knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) accounting standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Proven ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to team goals.
