Private Capital Fund Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead a team of fund accountants and oversee the end-to-end administration of private capital funds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of fund accountants, ensuring high-quality service delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the calculation of Net Asset Value (NAV) and maintain the Accounting Book of Records, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client requests, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Coordinate and review capital activity processes including capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, redemptions, and share/unit transfers.
- Supervise investment activity processing and related payments, ensuring efficient and secure transactions.
- Oversee the preparation and review of client reporting, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Manage performance fee calculations including carried interest, waterfall models, and management fees, ensuring accurate and transparent results.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding of funds and clients, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruption.
- Monitor service delivery against SLAs and maintain a strong internal control framework, ensuring continuous improvement and excellence.
- Participate in system enhancement projects and operational improvements, driving innovation and growth.
Requirements:
- A qualified professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services industry and accounting, especially in alternatives fund structure.
- Strong understanding of fund documentation including LPAs and Prospectuses, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting standards, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reporting.
- Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient issue resolution.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Proven ability to manage responsibilities independently while contributing to team goals, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
- Experience with eFront Invest is highly desirable, but not essential.
- Prior experience in private capital fund administration is essential, ensuring a deep understanding of the sector and its challenges.
