Ecology Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ecologist to lead our team and drive real change in environmental sustainability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coach botanists and zoologists, ensuring alignment with core values and strategy.
  • Manage workload, secure resources, and plan field surveys to achieve project goals.
  • Lead key proposals, allocate resources, and oversee project delivery.
  • Drive team participation in the entire opportunity/proposal/delivery cycle.
  • Maintain herbarium specimens and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Oversee staff engagement and quarterly performance reviews.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor degree qualification in environmental science or ecology discipline.
  • 10+ years' consulting experience as a botanist, preferably in Western Australia.
  • Current drivers' license (C class), manual preferred.
  • Previous experience managing teams or leading field survey teams.
  • Ability to coach, support, and direct team members for effective client outcomes.
  • Proven experience in current environmental issues and legislation.
  • Proven experience in proposal development and project management.
